What’s Growing On in the Garden?

Fences are Going Up at Our NEW HOPE Garden!

At HOPE, we’re all about planting seeds, watching them grow, and making room for the things we plant to bloom into bigger beautiful things.

Our local hospital, Mason General Hospital or MGH as we so lovingly refer to it, is growing & that’s a beautiful thing that benefits the members of our beloved community in big life-changing ways. While change can be difficult, this change is a much-needed step in the right direction for everyone involved…especially the youth of our community, who will have an active role in planning our new HOPETeaching Garden‘.

Our hospital garden has been moved approximately 100-feet to the west and we are so excited about it all of the progress it’s been making! The plans for the new garden are wonderful and our partnership with the hospital shines brightly as they remain incredibly accommodating and generous in their efforts to ensure we’re included in the process and that our hard work is preserved as much as possible, while the future of HOPE is given an amazing gift toward our long-term goals.

Keep your eyes peeled for new updates & more details as they come!

If you have any questions or concerns that can’t wait until new announcements are made, please feel free to reach out to us and send your thoughts to info@hopegardenproject.org. We’re happy to help any way we can.

Remember those Radish Seeds?

They aren’t seeds anymore! This is the second year in a row we’ve grown these amazing radishes from the seeds we saved. Abundant and beautiful, this incredible root vegetable obviously comes in more than just round shapes.

Radish Seeds Are Sprouting!

In Mid-August, we saved and harvested the most amazing radish seeds. Shortly after our seed harvest we planted them, and on the following Tuesday they popped.
