choice middle & high school education garden
Partnering with some of our favorite teachers, staff, and faculty at CHOICE and with the help of our community partners, we are transforming & rebuilding an unused lot into a fully accessible education garden! This space will be constructed by and for students. It will teach them tangible building skills, landscaping, botany, horticulture, and teamwork. We will have multiple garden beds for growing culturally-responsive produce, a compost system for the whole school to participate in, edible fruit shrubs and trees, and medicinal herb beds. This amazing resource will be utilized by teachers and students academically, as well as provide a new & beautiful outdoor seating area.
